M Lounge
834 Foch Street – (817) 850-9900 – MFortWorth.com

At the M Lounge
M Lounge is our favorite spot for martinis — and one of the only martini bars in Fort Worth. If you’re looking for something salty, we recommend the Texas Dirty Martini (Dripping Springs Vodka, dry vermouth, juice from spicy pickled okra and olives). If you’re looking for something sweet, Annie likes the Chocolate-Covered Cherry Martini.
The Ginger Man
3716 Camp Bowie Boulevard – (817) 886-2327 – ftworth.gingermanpub.com
The Ginger Man has beers from all over the world and delicious bar food, too. They have several dozen beers on tap ranging from beers from Texas breweries to rare Belgian beers. The Ginger Man is a small chain but it feels like a local dive.

Zambrano Wine Cellar
910 Houston Street – (817) 850-9463 – Zambranowines.com
Zambrano is a cozy downtown wine bar that’s within walking distance of all of the popular going-out spots. They have an impressive wine selection and great food. Zambrano also offers “tastes” — less expensive than a glass but enough to allow you to enjoy several different kinds of wine.
Winslow’s Wine Cafe
4101 Camp Bowie Boulevard – (817) 546-6843 – winslowswinecafe.com
Winslow’s is a special place for us because it’s where we had our first date. They have a great outdoor seating area and several delicious dessert options.

Yucatan Taco Stand
Yucatan Taco Stand
909 W Magnolia Avenue No. 10 – (817) 924-8646 – yucatantacostand1.com
Yucatan gets a little crazy on the weekend and is a pretty popular TCU hangout. They make great margaritas and frozen screwdrivers, but have more than one and you’ll be calling a cab.
