Fuzzy's Taco Shop

Fuzzy's Taco Shop

Fuzzy’s is a TCU hangout and a favorite late-night spot because it’s open until 3 a.m. on the weekends. They’re known for their fish tacos but also have great breakfast burritos, salads and queso.
Andrew’s favorite:
Special ground beef taco plate with rice and potatoes; Annie’s favorite: Tempura fish taco, special ground beef taco, and chips and queso.

Kincaid’s Hamburgers

$ – 4901 Camp Bowie Boulevard – (817) 732-2881 – KincaidsHamburgers.com

Fort Worth has a lot of great burgers, but Kincaid’s is our favorite. There are a few locations but to get the true experience you have to visit the original on Camp Bowie. A burger from Kincaid’s isn’t as greasy as some of the other local burger joints but you’ll still get your fill.
Andrew’s favorite: Burger, plain and dry, with jalapenos and fried okra on the side; Annie’s favorite: Cheeseburger with lettuce and tomato

Greenwood’s German & European Restaurant

$$ – 3522 Blue Bonnet Circle – (817) 921-6777 – GreenwoodsGerman.com

Greenwood’s is the best German food in Fort Worth and it’s minutes from TCU, which makes it one of our favorites. It has a very homey atmosphere and is operated by the Gruenewalds, who keep it extra-authentic.
Annie and Andrew’s favorite: Schweineschnitzel “jaegar art” mit bratkartoffeln, spaetzel and red cabbage

Buttons Restaurant

$$ – 4701 West Freeway – (817) 735-4900 – ButtonsRestaurant.com

Buttons has what we think is the best breakfast in town. They serve a Southern tradition, chicken and waffles, and do it amazingly. The best time to experience it is Sunday morning for brunch, when you’ll also be able to take in some live jazz.
Andrew & Annie’s favorite: Duh.

Grady’s Restaurant

$$$ – 2443 Forest Park Boulevard – (817) 922-9980 – GradysRestaurant.com

Grady’s is relatively new but has already become quite popular. It’s owned by the “cowboy cook”, Grady Spears, and boasts true “cowboy cooking”. It’s a classy place and has a great ambiance for a quiet evening. Don’t worry about the dress code, though — it’s Fort Worth so jeans and nice shirt will do.
